The Pumpkin Patch

How It Works
Purchase a farm pass
A farm pass is your ticket to access the farm grounds. With a farm pass, you can visit the pumpkin patch, see the animals from outside of their paddocks, and enjoy a stroll through our sprawling acres. Farm passes are required for all guests ages two and older to enjoy the farm beyond the dining area. Farm passes are available to purchase upon arrival.
pick your pumpkin
Enjoy a five minute walk to the pumpkin patch. Pick your pumpkin and purchase your pumpkin at the farm stand. Pumpkins are $12 each.
September 20 - November 3
friday 4 pm - dusk
saturday 11 am - dusk
sunday 11 am - dusk
If you’re looking to visit during an especially lively time at the pumpkin patch, join us during Fall on the Farm Grounds for live music, a pop up bar, and a food truck.
Please keep in mind that dinner at our restaurant is meant for an adult atmosphere centered on fine dining. The children’s menu is not offered during dinner service. If you do not plan on dining with us and would like to enjoy the farm grounds with children in the evening, you are welcome to do so with farm passes. We kindly request that children are always supervised and mindful and respectful of other guests and our animals. A food truck will be available during Fall on the Farm Grounds. Most food trucks will offer kid friendly selections.
When To Visit
Can I reserve farm passes in advance?
Because the weather is a fickle thing, we will not sell farm passes in advance. You will be able to purchase farm passes upon arrival.
FAQ
are farm passes the same thing as a farm tour?
No. Farm passes are simply an entry fee that allow access onto the farm grounds. With a farm pass, you are welcome to enjoy the farm on your own. If you would like to reserve a guided farm tour or another guided agritourism experience, click on over to our agritourism page.
Can I picnic on the farm grounds?
Outside food & beverages are not permitted at Congaree and Penn. Please make a dining reservation. You can also enjoy offerings from a food truck during Fall on the Farm Grounds.
Can I bring Fido?
Well behaved canines on leashes that do not extend beyond six feet are always welcome at Congaree and Penn. Dogs do not need a farm pass. Owners must always be in full control of their dog. We have many feathered friends who live on our farm; please keep Fido away. Dogs are welcome on the patio, but please be mindful of other guests who are dining. Owners are responsible for escorting barking dogs away from the patio. Dogs must remain leashed at all times.
Are the farm grounds wheelchair & stroller accessible?
Beyond the dining area, the terrain is uneven. Some paths are paved with gravel, and others are natural, bumpier, and prone to puddles. You’re welcome to give it a shot!
