Congaree and Penn boasts an elevated farm setting that is equally southern and otherworldly. It’s no wonder that our acres are a favorite destination for snapping photos.

While candid, personal snapshots are welcome, we kindly request that they are conducted without disruption to staff, our animals, and other guests, and with the preservation of our property in mind. If you are a photographer or a guest looking to schedule a staged and planned photoshoot at Congaree and Penn, we do require a photography pass reservation and a site fee. Regardless of whether a photographer is being paid for photos or not, a reservation and a site fee are required. Because we are a private property and a business (and not a public park or a national forest), we require a site fee for photography sessions.

Individual Photoshoots $150 Site Fee

Photography passes for small individual family photoshoots, engagement photos, graduation portraits, maternity shoots, and other celebratory occasions may be booked at a rate of $150 for up to 90 minutes of shooting time. Photoshoots are available to book on a 180 day rolling basis. The photographer and client are required to check in upon arrival and to carry a Congaree and Penn-issued photography pass for the duration of the photoshoot. The photography pass includes farm passes for up to 6 guests (not including the photographer). Additional family members must reserve additional farm passes. If more than one family is participating, mini sessions must be scheduled.
