FAQ
-
Yes! Farm passes are included for every guest within the reservation. You will not need to purchase separate farm passes.
-
Our goats, emus, and zebus are curious, playful, and friendly animals. They enjoy attention and love to “hang out.” Please be aware that the goats and zebus might nibble, jump, buck, run, butt, and step on toes. Our emus may seem intimidating, but they are gentle giants. Most of the chickens, ducks, and guinea fowl prefer to be observed at a distance.

We recommend wearing closed toed, water resistant shoes. Insect repellent and sunscreen are always a good idea, too. We recommend wearing long pants and long sleeves if you are sensitive to bugs and grass.
-
The animals are sensitive to rain. They don’t mind a sprinkle, but they won’t tolerate a downpour. If the weather is iffy, we play it by ear. If the forecast says 100% chance of rain, we’ll postpone. In the case of inclement weather, you will receive a booking credit to reschedule another animal greet or other agritourism booking at Congaree and Penn. Reservations are nonrefundable no matter the circumstance. Monetary refunds will NOT be issued.

Yes, of course! You can find availability and make a reservation on Resy. Reservations are available on a 30 day rolling basis. We recommend choosing a reservation time at least 90 minutes prior to your animal greet or 15 minutes after.
-
You will be able to see the animals from outside of their paddock with a farm pass. If you would like to pet and interact with the animals, you will need to book an animal greet.
