Reservations are available on a 365 day rolling basis and require a deposit of $500. This deposit will be applied toward the food & beverage minimum. Reservations must be made at least 18 days in advance. Please inquire at hello@congareeandpenn.com for weekday availability.

Family style service is offered for seated reservations among the grapevines for up to 30 guests. The menu offerings are designed to be passed and shared among guests. Imagine you are hosting a dinner party at your home – one menu is offered (with accommodations for guests with dietary restrictions) and guests help themselves to what they would like. Individually plated service is not offered among the grapevines.

Nope! Reservations among the grapevines do not require a venue rental fee. We do, however, require that the food & beverage minimum is met. The additional cost of sales tax and 20% gratuity will also apply.

Reservations among the grapevines are allotted up to three hours of service.

Guest count and menu selections are due 18 days prior to the reservation. Final payment must be received at least 14 days prior to the reservation.

If you would like to pair your dining reservation with an agritourism excursion (like a sunset cruise or a wagon ride), you can make the indication when you confirm the reservation. Please note that agritourism excursions will depart at the beginning or at the end of your reservation. We cannot accommodate agritourism excursions in the middle the reservation. Agritourism excursions must be requested, reserved, and paid for in advance. Payments are nonrefundable. In the event of inclement weather, a gift card with the value of the agritourism excursion will be provided. The gift card will be kept on file at the farm and will be available to pick up. Gift cards will not be mailed.

Yes! Farm passes are complimentary for guests who have booked a party among the grapevines. Your guests are welcome to enjoy the farm grounds as they please.

Children are welcome during daytime reservations. Dinner at Congaree and Penn is meant for an adult atmosphere centered on a farm to table dining experience. Some children thrive in this setting – they are welcome! We do kindly request that children are always supervised and mindful and respectful of other guests, no matter the time of day. Please do note that children’s menus are not offered for reservations among the grapevines.

Yes! Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

Outside beverages are not permitted. Outside desserts will incur a fee of $5 per guest. We offer a thoughtfully curated wine list, local beer, and our own cider. Our desserts are delightful – we also offer custom cakes.

For seated dining of up to 30 guests, guests will be seated at three 10' X 3' farm tables. For mingling events of up to 45 guests, two 10’ X 3’ farm tables will be available for sipping and snacking. Limited seating of 10 chairs will be available.
Congaree and Penn provides small flower arrangements and votives (these cannot be customized). If preferred, clients are welcome to provide their own small flower arrangements and votives. Candles must be contained to prevent wax from dripping on tables. Balloons, glitter, confetti, and large decorations are not permitted.

The paid deposit is nonrefundable no matter the circumstance. Cancellations requested at least 31 days prior to the reservation will receive a gift card credit. Gift cards will be available to pick up at the farm. The physical gift card will not be mailed, but the gift card number will be emailed for your reference. Cancellations made after 31 days prior to the reservation time will forfeit the deposit and all paid fees.
Congaree and Penn highly recommends that clients purchase personal event insurance to cover the cost of their investment in the event of the need for cancellation.

The pergola among the grapevines is covered and protected. The pergola is also equipped with roller shades on each long side. Reservations are rain or shine!

We encourage guests to dress accordingly for the weather. Overhead fans and heaters are available, but please keep in mind that you will be dining in an open air outdoor setting. While Congaree and Penn makes great effort to control insects (flies, mosquitos, ants, etc.), guests must acknowledge that insects are an inherent part of the outdoors in Florida. Guests are encouraged to ensure their own comfort by wearing insect repellant, especially during warmer months. Please note that reservations during the months of January through early March will likely be chilly, and reservations during the months of June through September will likely be very warm.

Candid, unplanned photos are always welcome. If you are appointing a photographer to document your party, we do require a separate photography reservation and photography fee of $150. Regardless of whether a photographer is being paid for photos or not, a reservation and site fee are required.
